Business Services supports the university with all direct market mailings. Addressing Services is the university liaison with the direct marketing vendor that assists departments in preparing demographic mailing lists for your direct marketing materials.
Addressing Services along with the direct marketing vendor The Technicom Group will guide you through the processing of your direct mail. Services include: Electronic file processing, labeling, inkjet addressing, mechanical and/or hand inserting, fulfillment and pickup and delivery.
Scheduling your direct mailing is critical for a successful mailing. For your convenience you can place your order online (http://www.technicomgroup.com/wsuorderform.html). You will need your University Index Number (department account number) and an Internal Requisition and Inter-Account Bill Number (IRB) to place your order. All Wayne State University direct mailings are processed through the Detroit Fort Street Post Office. The postage is charged to the university’s non-profit permit account and the postage is charged back to university departments through the postage IRB’s.
